A new program called the Reptiles and Amphibians of the Lowcountry is in action for the summer.

Reptiles and Amphibians of the Lowcountry is an event running from June 1st until August 31st. It will take place every Thursday from 2 to 3 PM.

The Coastal Discovery Museum introduces this program that will give a closer look at the fascinating reptiles and amphibians we have here in the Lowcountry.

The event will feature alligators, snakes, turtles, etc.

Interaction with a few of the live creatures is also available.

The program wants to help people learn the importance of these often-misunderstood animals and help remove the negative stigma that surrounds them.

This experience is family friendly and indoor.

Tickets for adults are $10 and $5 for children ages 5-15. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Coastal Discovery Museum at (843) 689-6767.
