Jasper, AL- On Sunday, 12 inmates escaped from the Walker County Jail in Jasper, Alabama. The circumstances surrounding their escape from the 250-person prison have yet to be revealed.

While 11 of the 12 escapees were captured by early Monday morning, one of the inmates—Brady Andrew Kilpatrick—was still on the loose as of this morning. Kilpatrick is serving time for drug possession charges.

The 11 inmates, now recaptured, were jailed for a variety of crimes including two attempted murder charges.

As the manhunt continues, residents are encouraged to keep the outside of their homes well-lit and remain indoors. There is a $500 reward for information.
