Bluffton Self Help Asks Community to Help Stock Shelves

July 1, 2019, Bluffton, S.C – Bluffton Self Help, an organization focused on helping neighbors in need of food, clothing, educational and financial assistance, is calling the Bluffton community to action. The Bluffton food pantry normally experiences higher numbers of visitors during the summer months, however, their food resources are depleting at a rate faster than expected due to an even larger increase of visits to the food pantry.

Bluffton Self Help has been a light in the community and is now asking for donations to ensure no family goes hungry. While every contribution matters, they have created a list of food items that are especially needed below.

Jelly

Canned Meats (Tuna, Chicken, Ham or ETC…)

Canned Fruits

Chef Boyardee Meals

Mashed Potatoes

Pasta Sauce

Dry Beans (1-2 LB. Bag Size)

Personal Care Items: Shampoo, Soap, Toothbrush, ETC

If you’re unable to donate food items, you can also contribute to stocking the shelves with financial donations. Donation hours are Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at 39 Sheridan Park Drive, Suite 10. For more information call 843-757-8000.
