Hilton Head Hospital is excited to share that Dr. Andrew “Drew” Matthews was appointed as the new Emergency Department Medical Director effective September 6, 2023. Dr. Matthews has more than 25 years of experience in Emergency Medicine, leading a variety of Emergency Departments in the southeast and mid-west. He joins us most recently from Boston, MA where he completed an EMS Fellowship.
Congratulations to Stefanie Todd-Lee, Birth Information Specialist at Hilton Head Hospital and Coastal Carolina Hospital, on being selected as one of the “Outstanding Birth Clerks” for the 2nd Quarter in the state of South Carolina. This honor is issued by the South Carolina Department of Social Services Parenting Opportunity Program. This program ensures that children born to unmarried parents leave the hospital with a legal connection to their fathers.
