From booming Bluffton, SC, WHHI-TV presents the Bridge Bowl between the Hilton Head Seahawks and the Bluffton Bobcats presented by Summit Services!
“Better Late Than Never” is the motto for this matchup between these two rivals. Both teams come in off huge wins vs Beaufort and May River respectively. Meanwhile Bishop England taking care of business and getting help from Bluffton takes first in 64A. These 2 will tangle for second and third.
Unlike last week's rivalry, the home team in this matchup has usually come out on top. Hilton Head leads the series 11-10 all time, but has lost the last 2 seasons 35-32 and 28-24. Both teams top to bottom are very talented on all sides of the ball.
Bluffton has a bit of an edge in the scoring margin at home, but the team with the advantage may be the team that has the most skill players on the field. Look for ground & pound with solid trench play in this one as weather could be a factor. Bluffton comes in 6-3 and Hilton Head comes in 7-2. Both 3-1 in the region.
Can Bluffton use the ground game more? They also need to stop the Hilton Head ground attack.
