From the treasure trove that is Hilton Head Island, SC, WHHI Sports TV proudly presents the Highway 278 Bowl between the May River Sharks and the Hilton Head Seahawks!
Both teams come in 3-6 on the year. The Sharks have one win in region 74A, and the Seahawks come in winless in region play. There are key players in multiple positions, on all 3 sides of the ball and they can play multiple styles which should make this matchup exciting!
Tanner Macy and Troy Timko will be two top players to watch, with their speed in the open field. Don’t forget about guys like the Sharks’ Gage Duncan and the Seahawks’ Jackson Bibee, Javarion Hamilton, and Jake Huggins. They could be big in this game if they get a chance to put their similar skills to the test. Once again, this game will be won or lost in the trenches! The Sharks have won in multiple ways in this rivalry, but the Seahawks have had success and are averaging just over 26.5 points per game at home!
Hilton Head’s one win in five matchups happened at home, and they look to grab another in the rivalry tonight.
