Navigating Early Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosis & Signs
John, a 58-year-old South Carolina resident, wants to help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of early Alzheimer’s disease (AD).
AD cases are projected to rise from 6 million to 13 million Americans by 2050.
John never thought his symptoms of memory issues, fogginess at work and loss of concentration could be Alzheimer’s disease, yet his doctor confirmed his diagnosis of early Alzheimer’s disease while he was in his late 40s.
Since starting treatment, John’s family and friends have said he’s remained steady with no noticeable decline in his condition, and some say they see a difference in him.
John wants others to know if they act early, they can slow the progression of their disease.
