The development of a certified Parkinson’s Instructor program. This is a program being developed by MUSC with the support of Selkirk Sport.
My personal story about how I have been battling Parkinson’s disease for nearly 18 years and have learned firsthand that pickleball can help slow the progression of Parkinson’s.
I especially enjoy the competitive aspect of pickleball having been an elite track athlete at The Ohio State University where I was a 3x Big Ten champion and 2x All American. In fact, I still hold the men’s 800m outdoor school record at Ohio State.
I want others to know that they too may benefit from playing pickleball.
