Surgery vs Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Today we are discussing why surgery should not be the first option when treating pelvic conditions. This is because there are many underlying causes for these conditions that can be treated successfully with pelvic floor physical therapy. Furthermore, if these underlying causes are not addressed, then surgery is not likely to be as successful. Pelvic floor physical therapy can significant improve symptoms and quality of life.
