United Way's focus is on creating opportunities for self-sufficiency.
To help people understand those challenges, we are presenting a Poverty Simulation on Saturday, September 14 from 10am - 1pm. Limited to 80 participants. You can go to our website to register.
We're also kicking off our 60th Anniversary Annual Campaign. Events will be sprinkled through the fall and winter.
And in October we'll be launching a mobile shower and laundry unit to help serve our unhoused population.
