We're showcasing a fairly odd artifact from the Conroy Center exhibit, a pair of Pat Conroy's pants which he once donated for a fundraiser auction hosted by the Pulpwood Queens Book Club in support of the Dolly Parton Imagination Library. With more than 1,000 members and chapters nationwide, the PQs have now been meeting for 22 years and their annual fundraiser auction supports our Conroy Center--and specifically our Lowcountry Book Club Convention. Auction items are donated by PQ authors; bidding will be open to the public this year during the virtual PQ Book Club Convention in January.
