We wanted to provide an opportunity for homeschool kids who are entrepreneurial-minded to share their business with others in a fun way. It’s a great way for them to experience running their own business, creating their products, creating a business plan, communicating with others and earning money for their hard work.
Nothing was off the table for creating their own business. Some kids will be reselling things from their personal collections of items. Others have invested time into creating things. You’ll find hand-made art, bird feeders, jewelry, tea towels, Christmas ornaments, homemade dog treats, food and baked goods, fire starters, magnets and decorative items.
Wild+Free Homeschooling Groups:
The Wild+Free movement is about preserving the wonder, adventure and freedom in childhood while also providing a quality education. Giving plenty of opportunity to explore, get outside, and be free to be a kid without expectations or pressure to grow up quickly.
The movement was started by Ainsley Arment and there are groups that meet all over the United States. Our group meets once a week, all over the lowcountry and we love to go on nature hikes, field trips and let the kids just be kids in the wild.
