Today we are talking about what to expect during internal pelvic floor work and assessment at pelvic floor physical therapy and why there is nothing to be anxious about!
Internal pelvic floor assessment and treatments allow us as therapists to help figure out what exactly is happening with your pelvic floor muscles, look for trigger points, tightness, weakness and impaired coordination which helps guide your treatment.
Our patients report great results with treatment, however is not mandatory. There are also many other treatment options should you choose not to do so! It's always your choice!
