There is a shortage of officials for all high school sports, especially football and basketball.
What are the benefits of officiating:
1. Earn a little extra income.
2. Give back to the community.
3. Stay involved in the game that you loved playing/get involved in the game that you enjoy watching.
4. Fellowship with other officials.
What does it take to get involved?
1. Register at scfoa.net
2. We provide all of the training necessary to get on the field.
3. No experience required.
4. There is a time commitment associated with officiating—2-3 games a week; time spent studying rules and mechanics.
5. We welcome individuals from all walks of life—men, women, military, professionals, students, retirees, etc.
6. Must be 18 years of age.
