Education is fundamental in creating a future of opportunity for all. It is a significant factor regarding income and serves as a strong predictor of poverty. With 50,000 households in Beaufort and Jasper Counties not earning a living wage, we know that accessible and quality education is essential to our community's overall success and strength.
• Through school supply drives, we are supporting teachers by allowing them to create the best educational experience for their students without the burden of coming out-of-pocket to purchase supplies for their classroom.
• We are combating hunger for children during school, allowing students to focus on learning, by collecting school snacks for 10 Bluffton area public schools.
• We are equipping adult learners with the educational skills necessary to become more engaged at home, at work, and in our community.
