FAFSA June 30 State and Federal Deadline Nears & What It Means for South Carolina Students
New LendingTree study found that the number of national FAFSA submissions in the 2023-24 academic year is on pace to be 21.6% lower than in the 2021-22 academic year. In South Carolina, that figure is 18.8%.
Yet FAFSA submissions from South Carolina high school students were 5.8% higher in the first six months of the 2023-24 application cycle than in the first six months of the 2021-22 cycle.
South Carolina’s students need to submit their FAFSAs by June 30 to make sure they get priority consideration for financial aid.
