Hilton Head Christian Academy selected as a registered charity by the Heritage Classic Foundation for the 2023 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing!
Hilton Head Christian Academy has been named an official registered charity of the Heritage Classic Foundation for the 2023 RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. This is an exciting recognition for multiple reasons:
First, is that many people don’t know that HHCA is a 501(c)(3), registered non-profit under the IRS. This announcement has raised awareness about our charitable status not just to our school family, but to countless others in our local community and beyond.
Second, we are now eligible to receive donations via their foundation and benefit from their additional 20% match– the largest match in the tournament’s history. Last year, the Heritage Classic Foundation distributed $233,000 to local schools through their matching gift program. This year is geared up to be more impactful given the increased match, and we are blessed to be one of a handful of schools that donors can choose to designate their donation towards.
Third, is that this partnership will directly benefit the Dream Big annual fund. Critical to the HHCA experience, this fund allows us to invest in student programs, the latest security measures, technology and more.
Thank you to all who have already made an annual gift, and if you would still like to participate in the Dream Big annual fund, I encourage you to donate through the Heritage Classic Foundation to take advantage of the 20% match.
