Firefighter Recruit School Class 9 Graduation Ceremony
The ceremony honors 20 firefighter candidates from the Bluffton Township Fire District, City of Beaufort/Town of Port Royal Fire Department, Hilton Head Island Fire Rescue, and Hardeeville Fire Department. These recruits have successfully completed an intensive 10-week training program to prepare for service in their respective communities.
Keynote address by Chief Jason Pope, Superintendent of the South Carolina Fire Academy.
Recognizing exceptional achievements and leadership:
• Highest GPA Award: Presented to the recruit who demonstrated outstanding academic performance throughout the program.
• Brotherhood Award: This prestigious honor is awarded to the recruit who best exemplified leadership, dependability, and camaraderie among their peers.
• Cadre Award: Chosen by the Recruit Battalion, this award honors the Cadre Member who provided exemplary leadership, mentorship, and professionalism during Recruit Class 9.
