The Red Starfish is the first book in the Cat Gabbiano Mystery Series. It takes place between the South Carolina Lowcountry and the region of Puglia in Southern Italy. It's a story of friendship, secrets and fears wrapped in the beauty of the barren coastline along the Adriatic Sea and slathered with the food, wine, and generosity of the Italian people.
