Samuel E. Murray Public Library/Port Royal Branch
Beaufort County Library is adding a 6th library location in the Town of Port Royal. The planned library, located at 1408 Paris Avenue, is the first library in the Town of Port Royal.
In April, County Council passed a resolution to the name the new facility in honor of former Town of Port Royal Mayor, Samuel E. Murray in recognition of his commitment to public service to help make the Town of Port Royal what it is today.
The cozy building will offer, a book collection, a meeting room, a study room, printer, fax/scan unit, computers, and Wi-Fi.
Although an opening date has not been determined, the goal is to open the new library this summer.
