Cris Lamdin, a Spring Island, SC resident and golfer, is courageously battling Parkinson’s. Cris was a Managing Director/Portfolio Manager with ClearBridge Investments in NYC when first diagnosed. Now retired, he is dedicated to encouraging others with the disease to persevere. He is currently working with the Parkinson’s Foundation of Carolinas to host the golf tournament on Spring Island September 25 with the goal of raising both awareness of the disease and funds for the Foundation.
Playing for Parkinson’s on Tabby Links at Spring Island is a premier golfing event to bring together local individuals and businesses to join in the fight against Parkinson’s disease. Together, as a community, participants enjoy a day of golf, fellowship and education on how to support the Parkinson’s Foundation’s mission to make life better for people living with Parkinson’s.
