Hargray is Now Sparklight!
The Sparklight brand demonstrates that we are always working for you – making continuous enhancements to the way we do business, so customers feel like every interaction with us is effortless, our communities know we are here for the long term and the towns and cities we serve are proud to call us a neighbor.
Hargray Communications was purchased by Cable One, Inc. in 2021. Cable One, which serves more than one million residential and business customers across 24 states through its Sparklight brand, will remain our parent company.
Hargray customers have already begun seeing the Sparklight logo on their bill statements and communications. In the coming weeks, they will also be greeted by new Sparklight signage and uniforms at our local offices and see new Sparklight-branded trucks in the neighborhood. Under the Sparklight brand, we will continue to provide local, in-person service while offering enhanced customer self-service tools and the latest technology at the best value.
Leading up to the rebrand, we streamlined residential internet service plans, offering even faster speeds and added value. Additionally, we’ll continue to focus on making the lives of our customers easier by providing value-added services, such as expanding customer self-service options through improved residential and business portals and creating a more personalized experience in our local offices. We are thrilled to bring a wide range of internet, TV and video services to our neighbors in the South Carolina and Georgia areas.
Sparklight supports our local communities! Through our Charitable Giving Fund, we award $250,000 dollars in grants annually to non-profit organizations throughout the communities we serve. We are committed to advancing education, strengthening communities and improving lives across the cities and towns it serves by giving back to the local nonprofits who do so much to support Sparklight communities.
We recently awarded $7,500 to the Sandalwood Community Food Pantry in Hilton Head; $5,000 to the Bluffton Community Soup Kitchen and $5,000 to HELP of Beaufort. We also donated 1,100 backpacks and school supplies to help local students and families reduce their back-to-school expenses.
