Authors, Artists & Afternoon Tea
The Gullah culture has played a major role in shaping our island through art, song, and storytelling. Many of the families who were here during the colonial period, through the Civil War and Reconstruction have descendants still living on the island and keeping the Gullah culture a vibrant part of our lives. Lowcountry Gullah will showcase jewelry and art that represents this important culture at Authors, Artists & Afternoon Tea. Come and learn about lowcountry families and their art, music and history. Gifts that represent the island's history will certainly be a hit this holiday season.
