Building Bridges Across Time & Race
Polly Sheppard is a witness to, and survivor of, the 2015 Mother Emanuel Church massacre. Margaret Seidler is an author and descendant of SC slave traders. Mia McLeod is a descendant of formerly enslaved people tied to Ms. Seidler’s ancestors and currently serves as a SC Senator. These courageous women are joining together to discuss the present-day impact of these traumas and how they invite others to Join the Journey to racial healing and harmony.
