Side Hustle Brewing Co. at The Bank
I have been a home brewer for several years, and I entered some of my beers into competition and won! So eventually, I started selling craft beer as a “side hustle” that quickly turned into a full-time job – which I love! And I am happy that my recipes are still winning awards on a national level.
Recently we won a bronze medal in the Hazy IPA category at the Great American Beer Festival. This is huge for us because this competition judges thousands of beers from all around the country, and we’re the only beer in this category on this side of the Mississippi River, so it’s very special to be selected – it’s extremely competitive.
The beer garden at The Bank is 55,000 square-feet of covered and open spaces. We have a pavilion, lounge areas, fire pits, traditional beer garden style tables in addition to more intimate seating for smaller groups. You would think it gets crazy hot out there, but the breeze and the tree canopy just naturally keep everyone very comfortable. It’s also right next to Benjamin’s Food Trucks – but you can order food and beverages from inside or out with QR codes to get delivered right to your table. Then inside, is just incredible – And the central Bar features all our Fixed Assets (our core beers always available) and Variable Assets (more experimental or seasonal beers that Lee and his team come up with). From there, you can see right into the brewery, where Side Hustle brewers are always creating.
This is an entertainment venue for locals and the public, so we have events nearly every night of the week. We have Trivia Nights, Karaoke, Family Game Night, Music Bingo, and Live entertainment on the schedule throughout the year. And we’re excited to host an Oyster Roast at The Bank on February 3, 12-3 p.m. You can get advance tickets for $40 on The Bank’s website.
