Food Insecurity / Fundraising for Food Shortages
Food shortages and inflation have continued to impact the Low Country and those in need. Fill the Gap is a fundraiser we are initiating to help supplement what food we rescue and what our partner agencies need. With the food shortages and price of groceries, we are rescuing less from the stores and the rising cost of food has impacted our friends and neighbors causing even more people to be food insecure. We are launching this campaign to raise money to purchase food from distributors as part of our Healthy Supplemental Food Initiative.
