Jill Moore, a longtime educator and Certified Master Naturalist, has launched “Moore to Life” – a unique Lowcountry-based nature company that provides nature-based programs, Eco-Cruises, tours and personalized events to local residents, communities and tourists. Moore, who serves as the company’s founder, owner and “Chief Nature Lover”, created the company as a way to instill passion and appreciation for the unique areas that surround us, and help people “do more” outside and experience all that the Lowcountry has to offer.
Moore to Life offers a full range of both public and private personalized events and nature programs for people of all ages. Public events, which include nature walks and talks, nature events, bike tours, seasonal art events and “Lowcountry 101” nature presentations are listed on Moore to Life’s public events calendar on their website. The website also provides information on Moore to Life’s personalized events, which allow people to create an individualized nature experience catered to their specific interests and the season.
In addition, Moore to Life has also announced the launch of private Eco-Cruises beginning in October. These unique tours aboard a beautiful private boat give people the opportunity to experience a personalized, naturalist-led Eco-Cruise to learn about and experience the incredibly unique eco-system of the Lowcountry/Port Royal Sound.
Moore to Life is also offering a number of adventure-filled trips for nature-lovers interested in a truly unique experience. From October 28 – 29, Moore to Life will be taking a group of 12 explorers on an overnight trip to Congaree where they will be able to explore Congaree National Park, kayak down a blackwater creek and visit rare blackwater swamps. In addition, Moore to Life will also be embarking on an Eco-Adventure trip to Costa Rica to take place from August 13 – 22, 2022.
