Joining the Coastal Discovery Museum
68 acres of land on HHI that allows for endless discovery of Lowcountry history, environment, culture and more! It’s an indoor and outdoor space where you can learn about the Lowcountry. We have 2,000 sq. ft of indoor exhibits – museum, art galleries, and animal collections. We are uniquely positioned because we are a Smithsonian affiliate. There is no admission charge, but voluntary donations are always welcome.
Membership fees help offset operation and maintenance costs. Membership and donations are a way to help us provide the facility to anyone who would like to visit. As a member you receive additional behind-the-scenes benefits. All members receive basic benefits at $100 Supporting level. Other levels are Smithsonian, Patron, and Discovery. Each level builds on the one before it.
Our new catalog of offerings is available and continues through August. Members can use their program passes for a selection of programs.
