JUSTIN JARRETT: It was a rainout last night, so with no scores or highlights to pass along, we’ll give you a sneak peek at today’s new episode of the Lowco Diamond Dudes, where I went Inside the Dugout with four Bluffton softball stars headed to play at the next level.
KATIE RYAN: It feels good, but I think it’s very bittersweet, but I think that a few years ago none of us really thought we would’ve all been sitting here next to each other. A lot can happen in that many years. I think for all of us to push through and actually achieve our goals, I’m very proud of each and every one of you and I wouldn’t want to be sitting here with anyone else.
JUSTIN JARRETT: Her teammates had already signed earlier in the year, with Alyssa Rose staying home at USCB, Ryan going to King University in Tennessee, and Parker Ray headed to Embry-Riddle, but Olivia Harrison was the latest to join the party, signing Wednesday to continue her career at USC Salkehatchie.
OLIVIA HARRISON: I knew almost as soon as the season started that I was better than I’ve been, and I knew I could be so amazing if I had an opportunity. An opportunity presented itself to me, and I’m ready to be the athlete that I’ve dreamed of being my whole life.
