June 10, 2019, Savannah, GA-Goodwill Southeast Georgia has announced Laura Villegas as the organization’s new Vice President of Human Resources and Compliance.
Villegas holds a Master of Arts degree in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychology from Assumption College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southeastern University, as well as a certificate from Assumption College for successful completion of the Society of Human Resources Management Certification Program. She has also received the designation as Senior Professional in Human Resources from Society for Human Resource Management.
Villegas has more than 20 years of experience in the Human Resources arena, with a focus on non-profit organizations including over twenty years in the behavioral health and child welfare industries. She is an accomplished Human Resources Executive with extensive experience as a strategic business partner and driver of high performance through employee engagement.

Villegas will oversee HR strategic planning including leadership development; workforce and succession planning; employee relations; inclusion and diversity; organizational development; performance management; compensation and benefits; corporate compliance; and leadership and oversight for talent management.
