Jasper County prostitution sting leads to 10 arrests

Ten arrests have been made in a Hardeeville prostitution sting operation that took place over the weekend.

According to the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office news release, the sting happened Saturday night into early Sunday morning.

Officers from the Berkley County Sheriff’s Office and Hardeeville Police Department assisted with the operation.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office had been receiving several complaints involving motels off Exit 5 and I-95.

Among those arrested in connection to the sting were:

• Billy Townsend – first-degree prostitution
• Jaquez Gadson – third-degree assault and first-degree prostitution
• Jacinto Jacinto Rodriguez – first-degree prostitution
• Jordan Inabinett – first-degree prostitution and possession of crack cocaine
• Euraina Young – first-degree prostitution
• Shay Major – first-degree prostitution
• James Jenkins – first-degree prostitution and unlawful carrying of a handgun
• Serafin Buenaventure – first-degree prostitution
• Juan Rojas – first-degree prostitution
• Eligio Gomez – first-degree prostitution, resisting arrest and providing false information to police
